Por vezes, há máquinas, engrenagens e sistemas que de tão grandes e complexas parecem impossíveis de parar, mesmo quando a maior parte das pessoas acha que viveríamos muito melhor sem eles. A verdade é que, por vezes, basta “uma partícula mais pequena do que um grão de pó” para fazer parar quase todas as máquinas do mundo. Será que isso já aconteceu? Vamos imaginar que sim. E vamos imaginar o silêncio logo após essa paragem. Será mesmo silêncio? Que outros sons e outras vozes se escondem nesse silêncio das máquinas? Que línguas falam e o que dizem?

Sometimes there are machines, gears, systems that because they are so big and complex, they seem impossible to ever stop, even when most of the people thinks we would live much better without them. The truth is, that sometimes, just "one particle as small as a grain of dust" is enough to stop almost all the machines that exist in the world. Did this ever happened ? Let's imagine it has. And let's imagine the silence right after that stop. Is it really silence ? What other sounds and voices are hidden behind that silence from the machines ? What languages do they speak and what do they tell us ?
